Course Schedule

 Half Day Mindfulness Retreat

Date: Sunday, March 4th 2018

Time: 9:30 to 12:30

Optional: Bring your lunch and stay for discussion and networking afterwards.

Location: Upper Black Eddy, PA (across the bridge from Frenchtown, NJ)

From 9:30 to 10:00 there will be an introduction to mindfulness and we will answer your questions about meditation practice.  Starting at 10:00, the retreat will be a silent mindfulness practice, alternating between sitting and walking periods with no further instruction.

Bring your own favorite cushions for sitting. A chair will be provided to you if needed.  The retreat is appropriate for participants with limited experience as well as more experienced practitioners.

Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) Course

This 8-week course was developed by Jon Kabat Zinn at the UMass Medical School in the 1980s. It is now being taught at hundreds of locations across the country.

Orientation (required):
Date: Thursday, March 15th 2018 OR March 22nd (choose 1)
Time: 6:00 – 8:30 pm

Course Sessions:
Dates: 8 weekly sessions
Thursdays, from March 29th through May 17th 2018
Time: 6:00 – 8:30 pm

Full day retreat:
Date: Saturday, May 5th 2018
Time: 10:00 am to 4:00 pm

Location: Frenchtown, NJ

    I would be interested in the availability of your course in Washington state, say in Tacoma, for example. I believe the organization I work with, Recovery Innovations, might be interested in incorporating the principles and practice you teach into our work place.
