Mindfulness in the Midst

Tools and practices to help navigate uncertain times.
We’ll start with an introduction to short practices you can use at any time in the midst of your daily life. Next, there will be a guided meditation for about 20 minutes and then we’ll end with an opportunity to ask questions.

No previous experience with mindfulness is necessary.

Half Day Mindfulness Retreat

Date: Saturday, October 3rd.

Time: 9:30 to 12:30

Optional: Bring your lunch and stay for discussion and networking afterwards.

Location: Quakertown, NJ

From 9:30 to 10:00 there will be an introduction to mindfulness and we will answer your questions about meditation practice.  Starting at 10:00, the retreat will be a silent mindfulness practice, alternating between sitting and walking periods with no further instruction.

Bring your own favorite cushions for sitting. A chair will be provided to you if needed.  The retreat is appropriate for participants with limited experience as well as more experienced practitioners.

THIS IS A FREE RETREAT WITH DONATIONS WELCOMED.

Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) Course

This 8-week course was developed by Jon Kabat Zinn at the UMass Medical School in the 1980s. It is now being taught at hundreds of locations across the country.ntroduction/Orientation (required):

I believe the organization I work with, Recovery Innovations, might be interested in incorporating the principles and practice you teach into our work place.
