Join us for our MBSR course.
The Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction program (MBSR), was developed at the University of Massachusetts Medical School by Dr. Jon Kabat-Zinn in the 1970s. Mindfulness arises naturally and is the capacity to pay attention to the present moment, with awareness and acceptance. MBSR is supported by 30 years of research evidence.
When life starts to feel like one big “to do” list and we feel a loss of aliveness and connection, mindfulness can be an antidote. We can pause to take some moments to tune into the life that is all around us but gets lost in all the busyness. We can look with a fresh curiosity like a young child seeing a bird for the first time and sense the richness and the loveliness that is also there.
Don’t let life pass you by. Join us on this amazing journey.
Many participants report lasting decreases in both physical and psychological symptoms after attending our MBSR course. Research shows that practicing mindfulness can help you:
- respond more effectively to stress, anxiety, or chronic pain.
- live more in the present, not so lost in the past or the future.
- see more options in responding to problems.
- feel more ease and clarity in the face of life’s difficulties.
- recognize thoughts are not facts.
- communicate more effectively.
